NRA Certified Courses
NRA Pistol
The most basic handgun course, this class offers the fundamentals of handgun marksmanship for sport or plinking pleasure. .22 semi-auto pistols and ammo are supplied. NRA textbook and certificate included.
NRA Rifle
This class teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. .22 rifles and ammunition are supplied. NRA textbook and certificate are included.
NRA Shotgun
Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target.
NRA Personal Protection In The Home
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense in the home.
NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home
This course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.
NRA CCW
Learn basic knowledge and skills in this all-levels class. The class includes classroom and range time, and will cover most state-specific CCW requirements.
NRA Defensive Pistol Module
To develop the knowledge, skills and attitude to carry and
use a concealed pistol ethically, responsibly, and with confidence.
NRA Home Firearm Safety
This course is designed to present the basic knowledge and skills for the safe handling and storing of guns in the home.
NRA FIRST Steps Rifle Orientation
This clinic provides Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training orientation for new rifle shooters – is the NRA’s response to the American public’s need for a firearm orientation program for new rifle shooters.
NRA FIRST Steps Shotgun Orientation
This clinic provides Instruction, Responsibility, and Safety Training orientation for new shotgun shooters— is the NRA’s response to the American public’s need for a firearm orientation program for new shotgun shooters.
NRA Women on Target
These instructional shooting clinics are designed to teach women firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship.
Concealed Carry Permit Classes
Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit
This 8 hour training program qualifies students for the Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit. Students must pass both written and live shooting tests to qualify for the permit.
Utah Concealed Firearm Permit
This classroom training program covers basics of handgun safety and the requirements of the law. Also qualifies for Arizona CCW permit. Carry legally up to 39 states with the UT permit.
Arizona Concealed Carry Permit
This classroom training program covers basics of handgun safety and the requirements of the law. This class can be added to the Utah CCW class.
Additional Gun Training Classes
Basic Handgun Safety Training
For students with little or no shooting experience and training. Covers handgun operation, ammunition, legal issues, and practice of stance, grips, breathing and more. Range time includes shooting at increasingly difficult targets including an entertaining stress-fire situation.
Handgun Skills Builder Training
This dynamic outdoor class is designed to elevate the shooters skills and knowledge with one handed, sight, and non-dominant hand shooting. It includes a variety of challenging shooting situations including an exciting and fast-paced relay.
Intermediate Firearms Training
Take your shooting skills to the next level. This dynamic outdoor class teaches a variety of intermediate skills culminating in an exciting shooting relay.
Concealed Carry Skills Builder
Further develop your firearms skills for defensive draw and shoot situations. This outdoor live-fire class covers a range of defensive techniques including shooting from high and low cover, dealing with multiple threats, one handed shooting, drawing and reloading, and more.
Custom Classes for Small Groups
Custom classes are available for your small group. Great for birthday parties, girls day out, work teams, or family gatherings.
Private Lessons
Custom private lessons are available for individuals who would like training tailored to their specific needs and shooting level.
NRA Instructor Training
NRA Pistol - Instructor
This 16-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Pistol Shooting course.
NRA Rifle - Instructor
This 16-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Rifle Shooting course.
NRA Shotgun - Instructor
This 17-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Basic Shotgun Shooting Course.
NRA Home Firearm Safety - Instructor
This is an 11-hour course that teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential in organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Home Firearm Safety Course.
NRA CCW - Instructor
This course that teaches the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential in organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s CCW Course.
NRA Range Safety Officer
Learn to oversee firing range safety including conducting safety briefings for shooters. Training includes handling emergency procedures, supervising shooting activities, ensuring a safe range, and handling malfunctions safely.
NRA Chief Range Safety Officer
This 14-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to training and supervising NRA range safety officers and developing range standard operating procedures.
NRA Personal Protection Outside The Home - Instructor
This 2 day course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA Basics of Personal Protection Outside The Home Course.
NRA Personal Protection In The Home - Instructor
This 15-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Personal Protection Inside The Home Course.
