NRA Personal Protection In The Home – Instructor

 

Cost:  $195

This 15-hour course teaches the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching NRA’s Personal Protection Inside The Home Course. 

 

Class is conducted at Skunk Rangers Firearms in south Greene County, TN.

 Additional Course Detail

Instructor Candidates will learn how to teach the basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. You must have completed and be certified to teach NRA Basic Pistol course along with having successfully completed the Personal Protection in The Home

Prerequisites: Must be an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. Prior to the course, candidates complete a pre-course questionnaire and demonstrate their firearm background in pre-course assessment exercises. Candidates must have attended an NRA Basics of Personal Protection Inside The Home course and passed the student exam with a score of 90% or better.
