Skunk Rangers Firearms offers an extensive range of firearms training classes in Greeneville, TN.
We offer firearms training with NRA courses, NRA instructor courses, and our unique dynamic live-fire training classes.
Skunk Rangers Firearms is a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and permitted to sell firearms and accessories in Tennessee. We are certified as a Tennessee Firearms Instructor and are able to conduct Tennessee Enhanced Handgun Carry Permit classes.

On November 1, 2016, SRF Owner Dave Peurifoy was certified as a National Rifle Association Training Counselor, or an Instructors Instructor.
In addition to instructing many NRA certified classes, Dave is now authorized to teach several instructor classes to prospective NRA Instructors.
Skunk Rangers Firearms was started to endorse the Second Amendment of the Constitution of the United States of America.
Firearms Training
Using NRA certified instructors, we train students for responsible gun ownership. Some people want to learn the fundamentals of how a gun operates and how to shoot safely and confidently without the jumping up and down, rolling on the ground, and yelling and screaming in your face. We might not be able to make you an expert shooter, but we will give you knowledge and skills for you to develop and advance further.
We provide firearm training in a comfortable, low class size atmosphere where personal attention is desired. Handgun Carry Permit classes for the states of Tennessee, Utah and Arizona are delivered in a friendly, informative and discussion class setting.
NRA Instructor Training
In order to become a National Rifle Association certified instructor, you must meet a variety of criteria as well as completing an NRA Instructor Training Course for each of the courses you would like to teach.
SRF Owner Dave Peurifoy is an NRA Training Counselor and can deliver this training and provide the required endorsement.
Instructor training goes beyond the firearm related skills and knowledge, also covering NRA policies and procedures, public speaking skills, training methodology, training aids and more.
